MYLAH'S BIRTHDAY PARTY!

     We had Mylah's party at the "Fountain". It is a great place to have a party in June because it is extremely hot here on the Coast! We had some good food like pizza, pasta salad, grape salad, bean dip and chips. Mylah wanted a princess party so we decided to go with Princess Tiana! The kids had a great time at the party!
      I know the adults that were there will not forget what I like to call "the Ivey situation"! Let's just say that Ivey "wondered off" and "got lost". It's not the first time that she has done that....but let's hope it will be the last! We had security and even random people that didn't even know us looking for her. It was scary!
     Mylah had fun playing with her friends in the water, and opening her gifts! Thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate with us! HAPPY 3rd BIRTHDAY MYLAH

Mylah's birthday was on June 1st! We let her open a few presents that afternoon at home. We got some cute cookies decorated like lady bugs and turtles for the kids to eat. Mylah picked out a turtle one for herself! She blew out 3 candles on her little turtle cookie. I can't believe my princess is 3 years old! Her birthmom "T" and I are still in contact with one another. She sent Mylah a sweet birthday text :) I am so thankful to have Mylah's birthfamily!

We went to Chloe's birthday party at the fountain in May....here are a few pics of the kids playing in the water! It was Dominic's first time there and he loved it! Mylah enjoyed it too and we decided to have her party there!

DOMINIC GRADUATES FROM K~4

Dominic was happy to graduate from K~4! He just began attending this daycare on April 23rd. He started K-4  in October at a public school where his previous foster mom lived. He adjusted well to starting a new school once he moved in with us. He calls it "Happy School"! He will be in Kindergarten next year and will be at Ivey's school! Brennan had an orthodontic appointment that morning so I let her tag along with me to Dominic's graduation afterwards! She should have been at school! Mylah was there too!

Dominic's Haircut!

I took Dominic to get his haircut in May. I know...really not a big deal to you guys! But it was my first time taking him to get it cut so I had to take pics! Sweet memories! And wow! I never knew boys had to go so often! They told me to bring him every week! The look on my face must have told them no way! So then they said every 2 weeks would probably be fine. I'm still thinking that every 3-4 weeks will do! I guess we will see. But I know I will not be taking him every week....or even every 2 weeks. I would be broke! 3 weeks will be doable.

GYMNASTICS

Dominic and Mylah both started taking gymnastics in May '2012. They love going to class with Coach Elaina! Neither of them pay a whole lot of attention or really try to learn much at this point....but they do have lots of fun!
