Ivey's Party

Ivey had a swimming party/sleepover this year! She invited a few of her BFF's. We loaded them all up (in our 2 minivans!) and took them to the swim club. They swam for a few hours, and ate pizza there!
Later we went back to our house and ate even more food! BBQ meatballs, soft pretzels with cheese dip, popcorn, grape salad, strawberry shaped marshmallows stuffed with chocolate, and cookie cake!
The girls had a good time playing together that night and watching movies. Ivey had a great time at her party!

HAPPY 8TH BIRTHDAY IVEY!

Ivey turned 8 in June! I can't believe she will be in 3rd grade this year :/ We did a little celebration at home with some chocolate cake and a few gifts. She had her party the following weekend. Here are some pics of our celebration at home with just our little family! Ivey wanted Brennan to roll her hair in curlers that night after she got her shower! That's why Ivey looks like a little old granny! Of course Ivey's hair won't hold a curl at all....so there were no curls the following morning! Ivey was excited to get a frog and the book to go with him....she had been asking for that frog for a while!

CMS Cheer~May and June '12

Brennan has really been enjoying middle school cheerleading! She hasn't gotten to experience cheering for any of the football or basketball games yet, but she has enjoyed getting to know her team-mates! The team went to cheer camp this summer. They went to USM and stayed in the dorm rooms. It was Brennan's first time to go away from home without me or Danny. She's been overnight to the beach a few times with a friend and her parents, but not away at camp or anything. I was nervous! Her cheer coach Ms. G was with them of course, but no parents were allowed to stay. Brennan had a blast and everything went just fine! The team won several awards at camp that week! They practiced really hard the month before they left.

MYLAH'S BIRTHDAY PARTY!

     We had Mylah's party at the "Fountain". It is a great place to have a party in June because it is extremely hot here on the Coast! We had some good food like pizza, pasta salad, grape salad, bean dip and chips. Mylah wanted a princess party so we decided to go with Princess Tiana! The kids had a great time at the party!
      I know the adults that were there will not forget what I like to call "the Ivey situation"! Let's just say that Ivey "wondered off" and "got lost". It's not the first time that she has done that....but let's hope it will be the last! We had security and even random people that didn't even know us looking for her. It was scary!
     Mylah had fun playing with her friends in the water, and opening her gifts! Thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate with us!
