IVEY LEARNS TO RIDE!

On Saturday March 17th, 2012 Ivey learned to ride her bike without training wheels! :) We had tried to teach her many months ago, but she was just not ready. This day she actually asked us to take the training wheels off and she was determined to do it! It only took her a few minutes to get the hang of it. She is so excited! We have taken many walks around the neighborhood so she can practice her new skill!
Peace~

EASTER EGG HUNT! (03-23-12)

We went on an Easter egg hunt! The kids had a great time making crafts and hunting eggs. The Easter party was put on by a local adoption group that meets once a month. Papa John's donated 10 pizza's for the families to enjoy :) Yummy!

Ivey found the golden egg and the silver egg! She got 2 $5 gift cards for Walmart! She was so sweet and said she wants to give one of them to Dominic. They have already decided they want to each buy a Zu Zu Pet when I take them to spend the gift cards.

Water Fun! (03-17-12)

The kids had a good time playing in the sprinkler! BeBe was here sitting in the heat watching them! We really haven't had a winter at all this year. It's been mostly in the 70's during the day this "winter". As you can see the grass is green and never really died! It has rained and rained too, which I am really tired of! The bugs (mosquitos) enjoyed the warm winter and are pretty bad here in the south already! I have a feeling it's going to be a miserable summer....probably with lots of hurricanes and tropical storms! Uggggg!

BLOG MAKING ME CRAZY!

You would think after having this thing for 2 years that I would have it all figured out by now! Anyway for the last week or 2 I have been working on lots of different blog posts. I have just kept saving them as drafts. Today I went back to edit and publish them. Well, I published them in the correct order, but the blog I guess decided to put them in the order that I actually wrote them in??? Not sure! So anyway, there is our vacation stuff from Feb. on here first. Really the March posts should have been the first ones here. So the blog titles have dates of when the pics were taken since I can't figure out how to get them in the proper order! UGGGG!
Peace~

Ober~Gatlinburg (02-21-12)

Ober was lots of fun! We never get to see snow on the Gulf Coast (well maybe like every 10 years we do, but it's not enough to stick to the ground). So the girls loved snow tubing! Mylah had a small tube attached to mine, but she chickened out at the last minute! She never rode down. Danny and I took turns snow tubing, while one of us stayed down the hill with Mylah.

They have a cool ice skating rink in Ober. We didn't ice skate because Mylah is too young, and Brennan broke her ankle at the end of November and it still bothers her some. Maybe next time though!

We had to wait several hours for our turn to snow tube, so we rode the carousel a dozen times! Mylah loved it!

WE RODE THE TRAM (Basically a trolley car high in the air on cables)! HERE ARE SOME PICS

MAGI QUEST & Jurassic Boat Ride (02-22-12)

Magi Quest was awesome! There was so much to do here! First we each picked out our "magic" wands. Then we explored this mystical castle! We completed many adventures finding clues and solving different quests with our magic wands.

At Magi Quest we also went through a mirror maze. We then played their indoor neon goofy golf which was really cool! We also went through a lazer light maze (there are no pics of the lazer maze here).

THE HUGE MIRROR MAZE WAS LOTS OF FUN! THEY MADE US WEAR PLASTIC GLOVES THOUGH!

If you go to Gatlinburg, don't waste your time or $$$ on the Jurassic Boat Ride! It cost our family about $60 to do this. The ride lasted maybe 10 minutes and was pretty boring! Here are pics from the ride.
