Summer Fun with Sisters!

Hair!

Fixing Mylah's hair is hard work! She has the thickest hair I have ever seen in my life! I have loved learning how to style it though. The longer it gets, the more fun I can have with it! I'm sure it may get easier when she is a little older! Right now she is a very wiggly 2 year old!

Back To School!

Brennan and Ivey are enjoying school this year. Ivey is in the 2nd grade! Brennan is in the 6th grade and is a "big" middle schooler! Brennan had her 1st dance and I got to chaperone it. She said I was not allowed to dance though! LOL We also had fun at Brennan's school Homecoming Game! Go Tigers!!! Here are a few pics of the game, the dance, and the 1st day of school!

HAPPY 7th BIRTHDAY IVEY!

Ivey turned 7 on June 10th! We took her out to eat at Longhorn Steakhouse for her special day. Ivey had a burger then ordered the dessert sampler platter....which came with 3 tasty treats! The staff at Longhorn sang to her also!

She really wanted a big girl sleepover so she had a few of her friends come spend the night on June 17th! We had lots of fun playing games, and Brennan was a big help explaining the rules and organizing the games! We had some yummy food too! Ivey's menu was: BBQ Meatballs, Pigs in the Blanket, Cheese and Pretzel tray, Fruit and Dip, Chips and Dip, and of course Krispy Kreme Doughnuts! We ended the night with the movie "Cool Dog" and all the girls left the next morning at 11:00.

Glad these birthday celebrations are over for a while!

THE BIRTHDAY PARTY!

Ivey and Mylah had their birthday party together at Jumps Alot on June 4th! There were tons of inflatables there. My June babies had so much fun celebrating with friends and family! Mylah didn't look for me or Danny once at the party. She was so busy playing that she could have cared less if we were there or not! LOL Normally she is clingy to us around alot of people.

Ivey and Mylah were so sweet when it was time for singing "happy birthday" and blowing out candles! They sat next to one another with their cakes and were hugging!

Mylah's favorite character is Barney. I was able to find one lady who does a Barney cake but she was not taking any orders due to being too busy with weddings. So Mylah had the next best thing....which was an Elmo cake. Mylah likes Elmo too, but she is obsessed with Barney! Ivey had a Barbie cake.....AGAIN! She had this cake last year too! And I am pretty sure she had it for like her 4th birthday as well.....I do believe it is the 3rd time she has had the barbie cake where there is a real barbie in the cake! LOL Brennan and I begged her not to do the Barbie cake again this year....it didn't work! All of her birthday party pics are starting to look the same with this cake! She is already talking about having this cake again next year....no kidding! Please let her be done with this Barbie cake already!
