THE BIRTHDAY PARTY!

Ivey and Mylah had their birthday party together at Jumps Alot on June 4th! There were tons of inflatables there. My June babies had so much fun celebrating with friends and family! Mylah didn't look for me or Danny once at the party. She was so busy playing that she could have cared less if we were there or not! LOL Normally she is clingy to us around alot of people.

Ivey and Mylah were so sweet when it was time for singing "happy birthday" and blowing out candles! They sat next to one another with their cakes and were hugging!

Mylah's favorite character is Barney. I was able to find one lady who does a Barney cake but she was not taking any orders due to being too busy with weddings. So Mylah had the next best thing....which was an Elmo cake. Mylah likes Elmo too, but she is obsessed with Barney! Ivey had a Barbie cake.....AGAIN! She had this cake last year too! And I am pretty sure she had it for like her 4th birthday as well.....I do believe it is the 3rd time she has had the barbie cake where there is a real barbie in the cake! LOL Brennan and I begged her not to do the Barbie cake again this year....it didn't work! All of her birthday party pics are starting to look the same with this cake! She is already talking about having this cake again next year....no kidding! Please let her be done with this Barbie cake already!

HAPPY 2nd BIRTHDAY MYLAH!!!

We had a small celebration at our home on June 1st for Mylah's 2nd birthday! She got an electric ride on toy that she loves! She was always trying to ride Ivey's Barbie jeep which is way too big and goes fast! Now she can race Ivey in her own princess car! Mylah thought her chocolate cake was very, very good! Brennan's friend Lauren came over to have some cake with us too!

I can't believe my baby is already 2 years old! The time has really gone by fast. I had lots of thoughts of her birth-family and how blessed we are to be Mylah's parents. I know her birthmom was thinking of her on this special day too. I will always have wonderful memories of going to Atlanta on June 1st, 2009 to watch our precious baby being born! We have a wonderful relationship with Mylah's "other" family and I could not ask for a more perfect adoption situation. I love "T" Mylah's birthmom and her 3 siblings who live in Atlanta. I can't wait for Mylah to understand who they are some day! It won't be long....I bet this time next year Mylah has a much better realization of how special her Georgia family is!

HAPPY EASTER! ~April 2011

We had fun celebrating Easter at the beach again this year! The kids Spring Break is at the same time as Easter. Kendall came with us on vacation! The kids got all kinds of goodies in their baskets! Mylah had fun playing with her bubble lawn mower when we came home!

Ok so I am really behind on my blog posts! These pics were taken in April. We spent Spring Break at my parent's condo in Florida! Our friend Kendall (seen in 1st two pics of this post) came to the beach with us. We had a great time playing in the sand and ocean. Mylah liked the sand at first, but once some got in her eye then she was done with it! LOL We celebrated Easter while at the beach since our spring break is the same time as Easter. We had a great time visiting with my sister and her family who also stayed with us for a few days. BeBe and Papaw George enjoyed watching the kids play....even though they were very loud!

EASTER PICS WITH REX!!!

We had a fun time taking Easter pics with Rex the flop-earred bunny! Rex was super sweet and the girls adored him! Mylah did not smile for the camera much, but she did have a great time when she was able to do her own thing! I love the way Ivey's 2 front teeth are missing right now! Too cute! Brennan was not excited about the "little girl shirt" I made her wear, but I think she enjoyed hanging out with Rex! The dress Mylah has on was worn by Brennan many, many years ago! I was so glad to get a family pic., as we do not get one very often!

The photographer is a friend of mine that I lived next door to in elementary school! Had not seen her in 25 years!!! It was great to see Kaycee again! If you live in my area then I highly recommend her!
